Air India Urinate case – Ex-Wells Fargo Exec Arrested After Peeing on Woman
It’s the story of a journey gone wrong: Shankar Mishra, an executive with Wells Fargo, was arrested and detained in India after a woman complained aboard an Air India flight that he had urinated on her in business class. The incident, which occurred during the New York-New Delhi flight, shocked the public. But while the story is certainly not a laughing matter, the police’s handling of the case might be.
According to the Times of India, Mishra told investigators that he was drunk and couldn’t believe his actions. And, for his part, the police have been surprisingly sympathetic. In a surprising turn of events, the court in New Delhi sent Mishra to prison for 14 days as police investigated the complaint against him. Mishra is facing up to three years in prison if convicted, but it’s clear that the Indian police are taking the case seriously and doing their best to ensure justice is served.
